![]() ![]() ![]() Now the only important thing left is to put in the effort and money for an epic launch trailer + good mainstream marketing near release (billboards / TV commercials, etc). After 13 days of preorders, it sold more than 2500 physical copies across all versions on Amazon JP alone. Physical preorder data from Amazon JP so far is pretty encouraging. So far I'm glad they are doing a pretty good job, especially with preorder trailer and TGS activities. I so badly want this game to sell well to mainstream such that I'm always pretty anxious whether they are putting in lots of efforts and money into promotions and marketings and whatever they are showing to the public are making good impressions. The update simply mentions that mainstream sales are also important, but I would even argue that mainstream sales are more important than backers because of how much a full-fledged JRPG cost, and I say this as a backer too. People really need to realise that this project cost several more times than the amount they take home from kickstarter. ![]() And if people really want to argue that beta is not the same as 48 hrs early access, which is a completed game, then I say MEH. All backers should get free DLCs and beta access, so the only difference should just be some in-game items, which completely don't look important to me at all and can also be ordered separately. I don't get the fuss about the Digital Deluxe edition. ![]()
